Direct Billing is a service we provide to save you time and is often an easy option for those with extended health insurance coverage. All of our massage services are provided by Registered Massage Therapists. Massage is covered by most extended health insurance plans provided by employers.
We direct bill for the insured member and their dependents (spouse, children, etc.) where allowable for most insurance providers. This includes Sunlife, Manulife, Greenshield, Canada Life, Empire Life, Blue Cross & more!
Availability of direct billing is dependent on your specific plan as well as service availability at the time of billing, and is not guaranteed. Ultimately, you are responsible for the payment of the service rendered.
Where a balance is due after direct billing or direct billing is not applicable, you are responsible for paying the difference or full payment respectively. For the latter, we will provide you with an invoice/receipt, but you will have to submit the claim yourself. You will be reimbursed by your plan provider(s); an amount dependent on your specific plan.
If you have a secondary insurance policy, you may submit the receipt for reimbursement when applicable but we do not bill multiple insurance plans.
You do not need a physician's requisition to access our services. However, a doctor's referral or prescription may be needed to access your benefits and some plans do not allow direct billing through your service provider.
